Our Story

Tactical Cyber LLC was founded in 2021 with a straightforward premise: most small and mid-sized organizations are operating in threat environments designed for enterprises, but without enterprise resources. The gap between risk and capability had become too wide to ignore.

The company began as a small consulting effort focused on security assessments and incident response support. Early engagements revealed a consistent pattern. Clients were not failing due to a lack of tools, but due to fragmented systems, inconsistent processes, and a lack of operational discipline in their IT environments.

Tactical Cyber evolved quickly from advisory services into a full managed service provider, integrating IT operations and cybersecurity into a single, cohesive offering. The firm adopted a “defensible operations” model, emphasizing visibility, control, and repeatable processes over tool sprawl.

From its founding, Tactical Cyber has prioritized practical security over theoretical perfection. Its service model aligns operational IT management with security outcomes, ensuring that clients are not only protected, but also able to sustain that protection over time.

Today, Tactical Cyber supports a diverse client base across professional services, education, and small enterprise environments, delivering managed IT, cybersecurity monitoring, and risk advisory services with a focus on reliability and clarity.
